1. Sun tanning your grasses

Sunlight is important to any plants including grasses as it assists in the photosynthesis process. Let a look at your current lawn landscape. Is a significant portion of it being shaded by trees? In that case, trim the branches so that more of your lawn is exposed to sunlight. Wherever possible, get rid of the obstacles that prevent sunlight from reaching your lawn.
